Ryan J. Zirngibl is originally from northern Wisconsin and is now based out of Kansas City, MO. He is currently finishing his graduate studies at UMKC under the famed Hallmark Foundation Professor of Design, John Ezell. Design highlights include The Lieutenant of Inishmore for the Unicorn Theatre, the world premier of The Red Shoes Ballet by Matthew Powell as part of the first annual Crossroads Ballet Festival, and the UMKC Gala Production of Tartuffe. Currently Ryan is designing the world premier of Hollywood A-list screen writer Ron Hutchinson's theatre adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita directed by Honorary Associate Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company in London, Barry Kyle-a story thought to be completely unstagable, with a longstanding curse to any who attempt it.
